Invoicing software for contractors and construction firms
Quote the job, bill it in stages as the work progresses, and keep materials and labour separated on every invoice. GST handled, whether the site is in your state or the next one.

How it works
From estimate to final bill in three steps
Send a quote from the site and invoice the first stage the same week.
Step 01
Quote the job
Build an estimate from your saved materials and labour rates, send it for the client to approve, and keep the version they agreed to.
Step 02
Bill it in stages
Invoice part of the value as each stage completes. Every invoice stays linked to the client so the job reads as one history.
Step 03
Track what is outstanding
Record payments as they arrive and see at a glance which stages are still unpaid across every site you are running.
Built for the work
Built for how site work gets billed
Estimates that become invoices
Approved online, on recordClients accept the estimate from a link on any device, and the version they agreed to stays on file when the scope is questioned later.
Convert without retypingThe approved estimate becomes an invoice in one click, carrying every line, rate and tax across exactly as quoted.

Bill in stages without losing the thread
Part-bill as work completesRaise an invoice for the stage you have finished rather than waiting for the whole job, which is what keeps cash coming in on long projects.
The balance is always visibleEach client shows what has been billed and what is still outstanding across every stage, so nothing is invoiced twice or forgotten.

Materials and labour, priced properly
Save your rates onceKeep materials and labour as saved items with units, HSN or SAC codes and the right GST slab, so quotes stay consistent across jobs.
Rebill what you bought for the siteLog material purchases against the client and add them to the next bill at cost or with your markup, instead of absorbing them.

The buying side, on record
Supplier bills in one placeRecord what your suppliers invoice you, with the tax you paid, so you know what you owe as well as what you are owed.
Order before you buyRaise a purchase order so the supplier knows the agreed price, and check their bill against it when it arrives.

FAQ
Contractor invoicing questions, answered
Can I invoice a job in stages?
Yes. Raise an invoice for whatever portion of the work is complete, then another as the next stage finishes. All of them sit against the same client, so you can see what has been billed and what is still to come without keeping a separate sheet.
How is GST handled if the site is in another state?
The customer’s state decides it. Save their address and GSTIN once and Pinvoice applies CGST and SGST for local work or IGST for out-of-state work automatically on every invoice and estimate.
Can I bill materials separately from labour?
Yes. Keep them as separate saved items with their own rates and tax codes and put them on separate lines. Clients tend to query a single lump sum far more often than an itemised one.
Does Pinvoice track site hours or crew time?
No. There is no time tracking or timesheet module. Record hours however you do now, then enter them as a quantity against your saved labour rate when you invoice.
Can I keep track of what I owe suppliers?
Yes. Record purchase bills against each vendor and see outstanding balances by supplier and by age, so paying the right people first is a decision rather than a guess.
Is it free for a small contracting business?
Yes. Unlimited estimates, invoices, clients and suppliers at no cost, with no per-document fee and no credit card needed.
